Past President, Amy Nicholson, spoke on "The Rotary Club of E. Clubs of Global Travelers, her Kenya Trip. She talked about the benefits of traveling with Rotary Global Travelers. She met many Rotarians from all over the world.
She showed slides of many schools and children that she met. She will travel many more trips.
President Theresa called the meeting to order 7:05 am. Rotarians in the News: Alta Medea was talking about DVIP Anniversary on 11-6. Valarie was at the Famers market dressed up in Halloween costume.
Ladona Wickland talked about Rotary and The Community Foundation of Johnson County working with Bring Yin, The Anti-Bulling Panda to kindergarten classrooms in our area. The Panda and book are $40 each. If interested in this project: Contact: LDwicklund@aol.com or 319-331-1090.
11-16 we are invited to the Childrens' Museums from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Open Heartland needs Elves to make cookies or adopt a family. Cookies need to be delivered on December 9, 2023.
John Ockenfels announced that the District Governor Elect Nominee Designee is Bill Bruce of the Rotary Club of Dennison.
